The Schedule

We do our best to get your custom work in your beautiful space as soon as we can, but generally, our timeline is 6-8 weeks from the order date/deposit date. We do take an initial 50% deposit on the total budget to place your project in our work queue.

The remaining 50% is due on completion and delivery.

Our communication throughout the project is unmatched. We will keep you posted and send you photo updates as the project progresses.

Our Table Construction Process

Our process involves the following steps after we have received your deposit and you are in our schedule:

Step 1: We pick the perfect slabs for you that are either in stock or through photos from our extensive supplier list. We provide Big Leaf Maple, Black Walnut, Red and White Oak, and other varieties of species for custom work.

Step 2: We pick the epoxy colour (if applicable) and the sheen of the finish for the table. There is a variety of epoxy colours available with us, but our most standard one is black or light blue, and they both go well with many design styles. We offer 3 sheens of finish: matte, satin, and gloss. Satin is our recommendation as there is a little bit of shine, but not blinding when you catch a glare. Another benefit to satin is it shows fewer scratches as compared to a glossy finish. Our table finish is by Osmo Polyx, a German company that makes hardwood flooring finishes. It’s an oil-based hard wax finish that provides durability and is a food-safe finish product.

Step 3: Photo updates and confirmation on decisions are made throughout the whole process until completion. Once finished, we contact you for delivery within the greater Edmonton area. We also ship the table for an extra fee outside of our local delivery area upon request.
